Truck driver facing charges in WVA rollover accident

Victims of a semi-truck accident my find themselves in need of help with their injuries and costs associated with the injuries they are left with.

Charges have been filed against a semi-truck driver whose tractor trailer overturned, crushing a pickup truck, in West Virginia. The trucking accident has resulted in the truck driver being charged with reckless driving, failing to wear a seat belt and several drug charges, including one for marijuana possession. The truck, loaded with 50,000 pounds of strawberries, was traveling in the northbound lane when it crossed the median into the southbound lane and overturned, landing on top of the pickup. Both the truck driver and driver of the pickup truck were transported to the hospital with injuries. The accident remains under investigation.

Semi-truck accident injuries can be particularly serious due the size of 18-wheelers. Those facing serious injuries following an 18-wheeler accident may wish to seek compensation for those injuries that resulted from the negligence of a truck driver.
