W. VA Christmas Eve truck accident results in death and injuries

A Christmas Eve truck accident recently resulted in one fatality in a neighboring West Virginia community. The truck accident took place when a semi truck was merging onto the interstate and was struck from behind by a truck carrying coal. Reports were that the collision was a multi-vehicle accident. The driver of one of the trucks was killed at the scene and the other was transported to the hospital with injuries. The local accident reconstruction unit is investigating to determine the point of impact and the contributing factors that caused the accident.
