Motorcyclist killed in West Virginia motorcycle accident

Motorcycle accident victims, and families of victims, have legal resources available to help compensate for parts of the harm suffered.

A couple hours outside of the Cabell area in West Virginia, a head-on motorcycle accident recently claim the life of a 24-year old motorcycle rider. The motorcyclist was traveling eastbound when the motorcycle and a truck, travelling westbound, collided head on. The motorcyclist was ejected from the motorcycle and struck by a second vehicle. Police believe the initial motorcycle collision killed the man. Another driver involved in the accident was treated and released for an injury to the driver's arm.

Two-thirds of motorcycle accidents are caused by the driver of another vehicle that failed to utilize due care and to see the motorcycle.
