Doctors, hospitals sued after child born with cerebral palsy

Pregnancy can be an exciting time for expecting mothers in West Virginia. The thought of bringing a new life into the world can be moving, and often requires a lot of planning. In addition to organizing the home and developing a parenting strategy, many expecting mothers have a birthing plan. However, when the time comes to give birth, these mothers might grow anxious about their newborn child's safety, and for good reason.

Three injured in recreational vehicle accident

A recent accident in West Virginia left three people injured, two of whom had to be air lifted to the hospital. The crash occurred when a pickup truck slammed into a UTV. Initial reports indicate the UTV either entered the roadway in front of the truck or crossed the center line and into the truck's lane, causing an accident when the truck could not avoid the collision. The driver and passenger of the UTV were flown to the hospital while the truck driver suffered minor injuries. Though initial reports seem to indicate the driver of the UTV was at fault in this case, the wreck remains under investigation.
