West Virginia couple sues employee and company for car accident

A husband and wife from a nearby West Virginia community are suing a company and its employee for a car accident that the couple asserts injured the husband. The couple is suing a construction supply company and its employee. The victim was traveling on the roadway in a passenger vehicle when a pickup truck driven by the employee of the construction supply company collided with the victim. The construction supply company owned the pickup truck involved in the car accident that the employee was driving. The accident resulted in injuries to the victim. As a result, the victim is seeking damages based on the injuries suffered.

Many people are aware that car accidents can cause serious injuries that can result in extensive medical bills and, in some cases, the need for long-term medical care. Because of this, victims are often able to recover damages from a negligent driver, or other party that shares liability, for the accident. Oftentimes, insurance companies are involved and the injured victim may be compensated for medical expenses, continued medical care and costs, lost wages and lost-earning capacity.

Victims of a car accident may be able to receive compensation for a variety of damages that can include pain and suffering damages. Depending on the circumstances of the car collision, and the relationship between the employee and the employer, an employer may also be liable to compensate the victim for the harm suffered. The compensation the victim receives will depend on the unique circumstances of the car accident.

Victims can sometimes be left wondering what help there might be for harm suffered as a result of a car accident's destructive force. A trained personal injury attorney can help victims better understand options suited for the individual victim's damages, needs and recovery.
